In 2002 I combatted my fear of flying by, well, flying to as many countries as I could. I used my cutting edge 35mm camera to capture every aeroplane meal I ate along the way. Problem was, with such little space in cattle class, I couldn't see through the viewfinder. So I just held the camera up high and snapped. And then I would wind the film on, until the cogs were perfectly aligned for the next aluminum wrapped delight.

Today photographs can be viewed immediately, in 2002, I had to wait the 16 months until I got home and processed my 63 rolls of film which cost me over a thousand dollars.

I am no longer scared of flying.
